WebFeb 13, 2009 · My PSU fan constantly revs up then down since the last 2 weeks. I have only had the unit for 3 months. Sometimes it's a constant cycle of revs and other times it seems fine. When I turn off and restart the computer it usually starts normally without the noise. After some point 2 of 3 fans (only side fans of gpu) start ramping. Around 5-6k rpm. Gonna reinstall drivers and then apply fresh thermal paste hope it works.
