WebMost campgrounds do not allow Day Use on the Overnight Campsites, probably for this very reason. They also only allow usually 2 vehicles and 6-8 ppl per site. Apparently, NM State Parks either do not have this rule, or they simply don't enforce it. Just seemed like the place was a bit out of control to me, and definately overcrowded.
